I was lying in bed when the earthquake hit. It was a strong shake with a rumble but didn't last long. My mother woke up slightly startled. No damage in the walls.

Zacharo - I was lying in bed & reading. It was a strong earthquake with a roar but it didn't last long. Our cat also woke up from the earthquake. There has been no aftershock.

I woke up because of the eaethquake. Everything was shaking, the lamp dis shake quite a bit. I have never felt an earthquake before.
