I was sitting at my desk in my classroom (with no students) working at my computer when the earthquake hit. There was no sound that alerted me, but rather the motion i felt while sitting in my chair. It was back and forth and side to side. It started out small, or barely noticeable. Then it grew more energy and I felt my body moving slightly with the rolling of the waves. It slowed back down and then stopped. It seemed to last for about 10 seconds, give or take a few seconds.
